Good News Bad News

Here at the House of B's there isn't a day that goes by that a huge unplanned mess doesn't need to be cleaned up, something doesn't need to be fixed or it's just plan mayhem and foolishness around here. Why is everyday such a problem for The Nuckinfuts(aka....Princess Lazy Ass and The Hubs) you ask? Well we are very unorganized, procrastinators, and usually just avoid any type of real work or pro activeness. We can spend whole days of list making of stuff that needs to be done, plan it out how to get it done, pick out anything that might be needed, go buy what we need, and NEVER get it done!

Well today is no different. Just when I thought I would get a day of catching up. on messes..........Guess again!

The dishwasher quit cleaning last week so we went and bought a new dishwasher. YEAH!! Scheduled for install today. YEAH again. The very nice install guy showed up on time and had my new spiffy dishwasher installed with in about a half hour. Thank you Sears! I know I know......Sears???? Sears is a pain in the ass! They were having a great sale, install was free and best of all they took the old one away. How could we pass that up. I don't have enough room in the kitchen for a broken dishwasher in the middle of the floor for a week or two. We are just lazy and don't get anything done. The best way to get things done around here..............Get someone else to do it!

So here it is.........My new stainless Kenmore Elite Dishwasher. I'm so excited to see how it works. I'm waiting for The Hubs to get home before I load it and run it. It's something we should share together. aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh isn't that sweet! Well, that and I need someone to read the directions. I'm horrible at reading instruction. I usually just plug stuff in and start pushing buttons.

The installer was finishing up and I'm delighted with my new appliance. Can't wait to use it. I'm happy the birds are singing the sun is bright and there is Disney music playing in the back ground (well in my mind anyway)so I hook up Charlie and we go outside to get the mail. As I'm walking up the drive I see a sight that annoys me so bad I want to scream!

Are you kidding???? Yeah your seeing it right! The mail box laying in the ditch with my mail in it! DAMN! We knew the mailbox needed to be replaced but we hadn't got around to doing it. Now I guess it needs to be done. Then I find out from the neighbor that the mail man actually knocked it over last Friday while we were gone. She walked out and just stood it back up. Well I guess the mailman knocked it over again today for good.

The Hubs is going to be D E L I G H T E D when he gets home and sees that a new post is in order in the rock hard ground. Guess we should have done this last winter or spring when the ground was super wet and easy to dig. That would have been too easy.

On a happy note..............when walking back down the driveway I did notice that my favorite flowerbed was in bloom. It's my favorite because it has some of my most favorite flowers in it and it requires little to no maintenance! I love the hydrangea and roses. I would have these planted everywhere if I could.
