Timi Week Update
I thought I would give you a little update on how Timi week has been going.
So far FANTASTIC!

The Hubs brought me a Gerber Daisy home the other night. Which I LOVE. It looks so cute on my little table in the kitchen with my birthday cards.
I put this table in the corner of the kitchen at Christmas time because I didn't have anywhere else to put it. I'm thinking I just need to leave it here and change the table clothes out with the season along with all the junk on it. I'm kind of diggin it in it's new home.
YES.......That is sunshine you see coming through the window on the table. It's rare this time of year here in the Pacific Northwest.

Made myself a little birthday cake. I love chocolate cake with white fluffy sticky frosting. Not to mention, it just looks pretty.
The Hubs bustin in to my cake.

Remember how I said I was sure my friends were going to start bring me baked goods like the Queen gets flowers? Well they did!

Look what was waiting for me on my porch.
This little box
Where could it be from? What's in it? Who sent it?

OH MY GOD!
What a fabulous surprise and treat! A pretty box from A Dozen Eggs.
Look what was in this little box

A whole box of cute hand iced sugar cookies. They were fabulous!
Thank you Laura! They were wonderful and I loved them!

I have heard wonderful things about A Dozen Eggs from other bloggers but hadn't gotten a chance to try their cookies. I can't even begin to say enough nice things about these cookies. They are wonderful! The taste, the art work, the shop owner, it's all fabulous!
If you need to send something special to someone for a special event or just because.........you need to bookmark A Dozen Eggs so it will be at your finger tips for ordering.
You will not be disappointed!

I have been doing a little junkin over the last few days of Timi Week. Here's some of my finds. I haven't been junkin for what seems like months, so getting out and exploring my favorite thrift stores has been fun.

Love this cute butterfly cupcake pan. I have no idea what I'm going to do with this but it was cute. I also found this vintage hand mirror. Love the flowers and colors on it. When we were cracking out crab last week, we discovered we didn't really have the right tools. So I have been searching for nut crackers and pickers. I came across some and was so excited.

A blue Fire King covered casserole dish. Love this. I have a little one that my Grandmother gave me. I think I might need to start collecting this stuff. If my Grandmother gave me one before she died and I found this one for $2 at a thrift store........ I'm pretty sure THAT'S A SIGN FROM GOD!
Don't you think?

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these but I'm drawn to black velvet and pearls like a Seagull to garbage. I had to have them. Black velvet scarf and a long strand of fake pearls.

This was my find of the day. I had been looking for one of these months ago because I had a project I wanted to do. Well I'm not sure I still want to do that project but I did find the overhead projector I needed for it.
It's like new and I picked it up for $10
I might start drawing stuff on the walls now!

I sooooooooo didn't need this either! I'm not even sure what I'm going to do with it. This vintage hat and handbag storage was in perfect condition (except for the dust) and I couldn't pass it up.
Huge red and white table cloth. Homemade, all wrapped up pretty.

I didn't get this at a junk store but I was so thrilled I had to share it. I have talked about Hobby Farm Home magazine before and how much I love it. Well the January February Hobby Farm Home issue is out and...............it had subscription forms in it! I'm soooooooo signing up.
If you were a victim of Cottage Living stopping it's publications I suggest you take a look at this magazine to replace it.
I LOVE IT!

Here is a fabulous gift I received from my 6 year old niece Princess Spoiled Brat. She loves to give me anything that has leopard print on it.
A little Whitman's Sampler in this beautiful leopard print box. After I unwrapped it she leaned in to me and whispered in my ear "you want to open it?" She was dying to see what chocolates were in it.

She also got me this cute little Charlie dog ornament. I love it!
Sunday afternoon I had dinner at Anthony's Homeport in Everett. I love this place. The food is always good, the service is always good and I can't remember ever having a bad experience here.
This time was just as fabulous!
In attendance for my birthday dinner............The WSU's, my parents, Princess Spoiled Brat, My Fake Aunt Reta (she isn't really my aunt but she could be. She's the same as family) , and of course The Hubs.
Mr. WSU had the all you can eat crab dinner they offer on Sunday nights.
It looked fabulous!
I had the halibut crab cakes. They were freakin fantastic!

WSU Laura had the Mai Mai and it was pretty darn good looking too.
You can't tell this from my crappy ass picture.

The Mr. WSU putting on his cute little bib for his crab eating.
Doesn't he look cute?
The kids made fun of him, well them and my dad so he removed it as dinner went on.

The kids enjoying my ice cream they brought me with candles at the end of the meal.
For my actual birthday on Monday The Hubs took me to Maggiano's Little Italy for dinner. We had tried to go here a couple weeks ago and couldn't get in. No problem on Monday night! It was really good. It's like Cheesecake Factory only Italian food. It was fun to go to dinner and walk through all the expensive sheshe stores at Lincoln Square in Bellevue.
So far that's it for the week. It's been pretty darn good! I'm very grateful to all my family and friends for making life just that much sweeter.
Things are starting to slow down a bit during Timi Week. I'm planning on having lunch with some girlfriends tomorrow then maybe a road trip on Saturday. If that happens it's going to be fun and I'll take lots of pictures!
Have a wonderful day!
